The Intern for Worship and Student Engagement at Duke Chapel will work with the Duke Chapel ministry team and will be supervised jointly by the Coordinator of Worship and Ministry and Assistant Dean of the Chapel. The intern will have opportunities to preside at worship, to preach, to lead students connected to Duke Chapel, and to assist with other student related programs.
The intern should be a welcoming and inclusive team player who takes initiative, works without direction within the scope of their prescribed duties, and is eager to work with a large, diverse staff at a University Chapel. Students thinking about campus ministry, liturgy, higher education administration, and large church parish ministry may be interested in this internship. M.Div. candidates preferred.
