Make a Gift
Duke Divinity School depends on the support and financial partnership of thousands of donors, churches, and foundations to make it possible for us to train the next generation of Christian leaders. Every gift you make supports our mission to provide spiritually disciplined and academically rigorous education in service and witness to the Triune God, preparing students to serve the church, the academy, and the world.

Gifts That Make a Difference
Giving to Duke Divinity School help make possible the education and formation of our students by:
- Providing need-based financial aid grants
- Funding formative field educational opportunities, giving our students real-world ministry experiences in the U.S. and overseas
- Offering resources to recruit and retain world-class faculty, supporting research and innovation
- Supporting the Divinity School’s centers and initiatives—including the Center for Reconciliation; Duke Initiatives in Theology and the Arts; and the Theology, Medicine, and Culture initiative—encouraging students and faculty to use their Christian faith to engage with crucial issues in the world.
The Annual Fund
Every year, Duke Divinity School receives applications from some of the brightest and most faith-filled prospective students from across the country. Every year, we admit individuals who show great promise for ministry and scholarship. And every year, we hear a similar refrain: “I want to come to Duke Divinity School, but I don’t know how I can afford it.”
Here’s where you come into the story.
We want to be able to tell all admitted students that they can follow God’s call to a seminary education at Duke because the alumni and friends of Duke Divinity School have supported the Divinity Annual Fund. Your gift helps support students through financial aid, field education opportunities, and formational programs.
