The Center for Reconciliation nurtures a theological imagination and embodied practices that strengthen Duke Divinity School’s calling to form Christian leaders who serve God’s work of transformation and reconciliation. Through spiritual and theological formation, practical tools for conflict transformation and reconciliation ministry, and opportunities for students to participate in its mission through work study, coursework, and mentoring, the CFR seeks to equip the body of Christ in North Carolina, across the U.S., and throughout the world to live as agents of God’s healing and hope.

Academic Courses

Engaged Dialogue

The Center for Reconciliation hosts a series of conversations meant to introduce individuals and organizations working on particular aspects of just peace, transformation, and reconciliation. The goal of this series is to encourage the surrounding community to think theologically and nourish their moral imagination to effectively deal with the challenges facing our communities and our world.
