What three words would your friends use to describe you?
Dependable, Silly, Good listener
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
I’m definitely a night owl. I’ve tried to train myself to be up and ready to go in the mornings, but it just doesn’t work for me. Give me late afternoon and evening and I’m wide awake and ready to work.
If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?
I would love to be an expert at playing the piano or guitar. I love music and have always wanted to learn how to play, so if I could snap my fingers and be able to play automatically, that would be wonderful.
What’s one thing you’re currently trying to make a habit?
I’m trying my best to make drinking water a habit. I’m terrible with making sure I drink enough each day and I have been working on this.
What would we most likely find you doing on the weekend?
Before COVID-19 happened, on the weekends you would find me spending time with my parents. And definitely during the summer I'd be attending lots of cookouts and playing golf. Now, on the weekends I’m usually working on a project at home (painting a room) or crocheting.
What’s something you saw recently that made you smile?
Recently, I was scrolling through Instagram and saw a little baby being tickled by his dad and the baby’s laugh was so infectious that I couldn’t help but smile and laugh myself.
Are you a dog person or a cat person (or neither)?
I love dogs. I don’t have any right now, but I used to. My last dog was a Jack Russell Terrier named Rudy. He was such a playful and awesome dog. Since losing him, I haven’t built up the courage to get another dog because I miss him too much.
What’s your favorite place to eat around here?
Since COVID-19 has pretty much curbed my ability to go places to eat, I haven’t been able to go out. However, if you are in the Durham area and you are craving dessert, I will tell you that I love Chez Moi Bakery. She makes the best rum cakes ever, and if you live in Durham, she will actually deliver them to you for free.
