Martha Carlough, M.D. M.P.H. is a consulting professor in theology and medicine at Duke Divinity School and professor of family medicine and director of the Office of Global Health Education at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Carlough has more than 30 years of experience in clinical and public aspects of maternal and child health, including a decade of work in Nepal. As a spiritual director trained in the Ignatian tradition she leads spiritual formation for the Theology, Medicine and Culture Initiative.
