Dr. Chanequa Walker-Barnes will offer the second of three Trauma-Informed Care workshops on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 5:00-6:15 p.m. Dr. Walker-Barnes will be presenting a session called “Terror & Tenderness: Reckoning with Trauma in Faith-Based Activism.” Dr. Walker-Barnes is a scholar, theologian, and clinical psychologist whose work focuses on healing the legacies of racial and gender oppression. She is the author of three books, including her most recent publication, Sacred Self-Care: Daily Practices for Nurturing Our Whole Selves.
