The 2025 Steinmetz Lecture will be given by Dr. Robert Orsi, the Grace Craddock Nagle Chair of Catholic Studies and professor of religious studies, history, and American studies at Northwestern University. 

Professor Orsi studies American religious history and contemporary practice; American Catholicism in both historical and ethnographic perspective; and he is widely recognized for his work on theory and method for the study of religion.
