In celebration of the 140th anniversary of Methodist mission work, President Kyung-dong Yoo of Methodist Theological University in Korea (MTU) visited Duke Divinity School in January, marking a significant new chapter in the schools’ growing international partnership.

Duke Divinity School’s 99th Opening Convocation welcomed 219 new students, with Dean Edgardo Colón-Emeric kicking off the school's Nicene Preaching Series.

Several dozen Duke Divinity students learned about church governance, met with bishops, and expressed hope for their vocational call in a course to prepare for the United Methodist Church General Conference.

The full Senior Cross Service is held in Goodson Chapel for the first time since 2019.
