Applications are now open for the 2019-2020 Caminantes Program.
Caminantes is a group of fellow sojourners who seek to encounter Christ on the roads connecting Duke Divinity School to the world. The group meets every week for spiritual formation from a Latinx perspective. In these meetings, participants have the opportunity to practice and hone skills for ministry among Latinx communities. Together the group reads the Bible in Spanish, discusses texts emerging from the community, and learns how to praise and pray in a different language. In addition to these meetings, the Caminantes have the opportunity to attend a spiritual retreat in the fall and a pilgrimage to Latin America during the spring semester. The deadline to apply is August 30, 2019.
