New Beginning Christian Fellowship Church, a Baptist affiliated congregation, is seeking candidates for Senior Pastor. The church is located in Cary, N.C. in the heart of the Research Triangle. This predominately African-American congregation has been in existence for eight years and has a membership of approximately 50 people.

The ideal candidate should be a born-again believer who is licensed and ordained by a Baptist church, who is familiar with Baptist polity, history, and doctrines. Candidates must have theological training, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree; two or more years of pastoral or professional ministry experience; be a gifted preacher/teacher who inspires people to learn and understand deep biblical truths; have and be able to articulate a clear vision for the contemporary church; possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to work with diverse groups; be knowledgeable in the use of social media and be computer literate; have a willingness to be "hands on" in working with the congregation; and meet the biblical qualifications found in First Timothy 3.

The Senior Pastor’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to preaching, teaching bible study, pastoral counseling, premarital counseling, attending all regularly scheduled church meetings, presiding over baptisms, funerals, and weddings, training ministers and other church leaders, ministering to bereaved church members, visiting the sick/shut-in, and performing other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the church.
