A Christ-centered church, Montvale Evangelical Free Church (MEFC) in Montvale, NJ, seeks a Next Gen (youth) Pastor to help further expand and establish our children’s, youth, and young adult ministries. This requires a passion for intentional short and long-term outreach as well as relationship building and spiritual development that will equip young people both inside and outside the church walls. The Next Gen Pastor works with and is accountable to the Senior Pastor and MEFC Board of Elders to engage in biblical teaching, instruction, worship, fellowship, and missionary opportunities appropriate for young people at all age levels.

Qualifications: a growing follower of Jesus Christ called to ministry, strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to both children and adults, an undergraduate theological degree or preferably a post-graduate theological degree: MA, MDiv., or ThM, relevant ministry experience including involvement with Cru a plus Compensation: salary plus benefits including housing, insurance, retirement vacation time
