Job Summary - Work with team to expand and implement faith formation ministry for children and youth Recruit, organize and supervise volunteers and paid staff for child/youth ministries Work with Senior Pastor and Ministries to incorporate children and youth into the life of the congregation Communicate regularly with parents and youth Oversee children’s Sunday school, including further developing current curriculum Co-administer Safe Church Policy Create community of belonging for youth that includes variety of fellowship, learning and service experiences that grow their faith Supervise youth on mission trip every other year, annual weekend retreat and other trips as planned. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Sunday School · Further develop current Sunday school curriculum · Set the annual Sunday School calendar teaching schedule · Recruit, train, and build relationship with volunteer teachers · Teach Sunday school alongside volunteers · Purchase and provide necessary materials to teachers · Plan volunteer and learning opportunities for children and youth with community partners Events · Plan and schedule Faith Formation events with children, youth and congregation throughout the year, including: o Annual Winter Youth Retreat o Annual Faith Formation Christmas Party o Kick-off Sunday at beginning of school year o Seasonal Events Communication and Administration · Write article for monthly church newsletter · Maintain open lines of communication with parents and caregivers · Provide social media updates · Create and manage annual Faith Formation budget · Manage Sunday school enrollment and roster · Co-administer Safe Church Policy · Attend weekly virtual staff meetings · Attend monthly virtual council meetings Liturgical and Worship: · Plan recognition Sunday and other children/youth services · Assist in coordinating Christmas Pageant/Cantata · Provide weekly Time with the Children message · Attend worship committee meetings 

Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, supplemented by theological training; MDiv preferred; experience working with children and youth of all ages; strong skills in communication, time management, organization, and relationship building.
