Associate Pastor for Music & Worship Chatham Heights Baptist Church & First Baptist Church of Martinsville (VA) Overview: Chatham Heights Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Martinsville, two sister CBF (Cooperative Baptist Fellowship) churches, are seeking a passionate and gifted Associate Pastor for Music & Worship to lead and inspire worship. This is an exciting opportunity to serve in nurturing vibrant worship experiences that are both meaningful and transformational. 

Key Responsibilities: • Providing leadership to the choirs and musicians in church worship services • Directing various choirs, recruiting and training choir members • Working with the Senior Pastor in planning and evaluating worship services • Selecting appropriate anthems and musical pieces for choirs • Giving pastoral care to members of the church in conjunction with the ministry staff & diaconate ministries • Establishing and building comprehensive music programs for all. 

Qualifications: • Seminary degree (or enrollment) preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Music (or related field) • Relevant musical experience, including conducting of choirs • Strong communication and relational skills • Must pass a background check and hold a valid driver’s license.

Compensation: Salary package is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience.
