First Baptist Church of St Petersburg, Florida is seeking an Associate Pastor. The role of the Associate Pastor will work alongside and under the direction & leadership of the Pastor in providing Pastoral Care, Christian Formation, and Spiritual Leadership for the church with a particular focus on the Discipleship Ministries. 

The Associate Pastor’s principal responsibilities will be: 1) Collaborating with the Pastor, other pastoral staff, and members to evaluate, envision, develop, and implement strategies to achieve the mission of First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg; 2) Leading discipleship ministry; and 3) Providing collaborative pastoral leadership including worship planning and leadership, preaching and teaching, pastoral care, and organizational management.
