Practice & Presence is a national gathering for Christians in health care seeking renewal, belonging, and faithful ways of practicing. Rooted in the practices of the church, the conference bears public witness to the beauty, truth, and goodness of the gospel as it shapes health care. 

For those working in clinical, pastoral, and communal contexts, this year’s gathering will consider what it means for health care that we are creatures—made, loved, and held by a God who entered the world as a human being. Drawing on Scripture and tradition, we will explore creaturely life as it relates to: 

• disability, witnessing to the full dignity of embodied human life;
• rest, practicing trust in the One who sustains;
• and beauty, participating in God's ongoing work of renewal.
