The Ray of Hope Christian Church is currently seeking a part-time Minister of Outreach. The Minister of Outreach is responsible for developing and implementing outreach opportunities for the Ray of Hope Christian Church. 

Key Responsibilities • Identify and facilitate cooperative relationships between the church and community. • Provide support and oversight to the ministry partners through program site visits, membership training, and resource identification. • Provide leadership for Ministry Chairpersons in the Outreach department to plan and execute programs throughout the year for the congregation and community. • Development of the annual budget for the Outreach Ministry. • Provide regular communication to the Senior Pastor, ministerial staff, and congregation regarding ministry status/activities. • Develop cooperative relationships and partnerships with other ministries inside and outside the church. • All other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.

QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited college in urban planning or a related field. • Master’s degree in social work/counseling or a related field. • At least five (5) years of practical experience serving in community development, non-profit work, or a related field. • A deep commitment to Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God. • Excellent administration, interpersonal, and leadership skills. • Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills. 

Important Skills/Attributes • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment. • Must exhibit exemplary personal conduct and integrity. • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Social Media programs, and online technology.
