On Nov. 10, 2014, leading New Testament scholar N. T. Wright, professor of New Testament and early Christianity at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and a retired Anglican bishop, joined members of the Divinity School faculty for a panel discussion on Pauline theology. The faculty panel members were Douglas Campbell, professor of New Testament; Susan Eastman, associate research professor of New Testament; and J. Ross Wagner, associate professor of New Testament. Richard Hays, dean and George Washington Ivey Professor of New Testament at the Divinity School, moderated the discussion. Video of the panel discussion is available on YouTube.

On Nov. 11, 2014,  Wright presented a lecture on "Why and How Paul Invented Christian Theology." Video of the lecture is also available on YouTube.

Wright is the author of more than 60 books, including The New Testament and the People of God (1992), Jesus and the Victory of God (1996), The Resurrection of the Son of God (2003), and Paul and the Faithfulness of God (2013).
