Duke Divinity School will hold its 89th Closing Convocation on April 16 from 11:25 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. in Goodson Chapel with C. Kavin Rowe, associate professor of New Testament at the school, preaching.
Dean Richard Hays selected Rowe as the preacher for the worship service after the graduating class submitted nominations.
Immediately after the service, a light lunch honoring the graduates will be served near the William Kellon Quick entrance to the Westbrook Building. This luncheon is open to all Divinity School students, faculty, and staff.
