Duke Divinity School will hold a Service of Word in celebration of Gardner C. Taylor and in collaboration with the Office of Black Church Studies. The Rev. Dr. Braxton Shelley, professor of music, sacred music, and divinity and faculty director of the Interdisciplinary Program in Music and the Black Church at Yale University, will preach.
