The Center for Reconciliation (CFR) and Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) will host "An Invitation to Lament and a Call to Act.". CSW is an international human rights network of affiliates that stand with “those facing injustice because of their religion or belief, and advocate to defend, protect and restore religious freedom worldwide.”
This special event will be held in person and includes a worship service in Goodson Chapel from 5-6 p.m. highlighting the stories of three individuals that CSW is currently supporting (Nigerian Christian, Chinese Uyghur, Cuban Christian). It will also include an opportunity to engage in action in 0014 Westbrook from 6-7 p.m. The time of action will provide space for participants to talk more informally with our guests from CSW and to join in several of their current advocacy campaigns. Food will be provided for those who participate in the call to action.
All participants should complete a survey to confirm your meal reservation by noon on Nov. 15.
