The Center for Reconciliation, in collaboration with its partner the Americas Initiative for Transformation and Reconciliation (AITR), is offering the second session in the fourth module of the Second Institute of the Americas for Transformation and Reconciliation.

Module 4: On Vocation, Session 2: Cultivating Environmental Stewardship in Everyday Life

Key Presenters:

Dr. Ryan Juskus (USA) teaches environmental ethics and leadership at Wake Forest University. He received a Ph.D. in Religion from Duke University, where his research focused on Christian responses to environmental injustice. He serves as the vice-chair of the board of directors of Peace and Hope International, an organization that works in Latin America alongside individuals, families, and communities in poverty so that they can live with dignity, free from violence and injustice.

Dr. Raquel Arouca (Brazil) is a biologist and environmental educator. She has a Masters's degree in Ecology and Natural Resources and a Doctorate in Entomology. She is the founder of the Christian environmental NGO A Rocha Brasil where she served as project coordinator. Currently, she acts as a mobilizer in the Christian and environmental movement Renew Our World.
