CreatureKind, a student organization, and Duke Divinity School are hosting an online conversation between Duke Divinity Professors Norman Wirzba and Stephen Chapman on what it means to be human in an age of factory farming. The two will explore the meaning of creatureliness in light of the Gospel.
Wirzba is the Gilbert T. Rowe Distinguished Professor of Christian Theology and a senior fellow at the Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University. Chapman is an associate professor of Old Testament.
The conversation will be for 30 minutes and will include time for Q&A. The free event, which will be held via Zoom, is open to anyone.
Registration is required.
