Duke Divinity School's Asian House of Studies will hold an online panel discussion, "Conversations on Anti-Asian Racism," featuring Drs. Rae Cho, Jung Choi, and Sangwoo Kim as panelists.

Cho received his M.Div. and Th.D. from Duke Divinity School with a doctoral dissertation on missiological formation of racialized Korean Christianity. He served as a lay leader in an Asian American church in Silicon Valley prior to seminary, and his scholarly interests include Asian American theology, critical race theory, postcolonialism, and Black theology. Cho has taught two classes on Asian American theology at the school.

Choi is the senior director of the Wesleyan Formation Initiatives and co-director of the Asian House of Studies at Duke Divinity School. Dr. Choi earned an M.Div. and a Th.D. from Harvard University and a S.T.M. from Yale University. As a scholar of New Testament and Early Christianity, she teaches and writes on Asian and Asian American biblical hermeneutics, feminist historiography, among other things.

Kim is the director of the Methodist House of Studies and co-director of the Asian House of Studies. He earned an M.Div. degree from Harvard University, a Th.M. from Emory University, and a Th.D. from Duke University. He teaches Methodism, spiritual formation, and liturgical theology. Kim is an elder of the N.C. Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and serves on the anti-racism task force of the Board of Ordained Ministry.
