This virtual seminar is part of a semi-monthly series exploring themes at the intersections of theology, medicine, and culture. Matt Rubach, MD, will give this week's seminar, “Colonialism, Global Health, and Catholic Social Teaching: Notes from a Decade at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre.” Dr. Rubach is an associate professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases & International Health at Duke and an associate research professor with the Duke Global Health Institute. Additionally, he serves as the co-director of the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC)-Duke Health Collaboration.
