Duke Divinity School will co-sponsor the Believers Church Conference to be held on the campus of Shaw University. The conference will explore the theme: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Global Witness of Believers Churches.

Brown, (Ryerson University Toronto), Rubi' Elizabeth Barocio Castells (Universidad Iberoamericana), Fernando Enns (University of Hamburg), Scott Holland (Bethany Theological Seminary), Xavier L. Johnson (Earlham School of Religion), Lesley Francisco McClendon (Duke University), and Teun van der Leer (University of Amsterdam).
