The Assistant Minister provides spiritual and organizational leadership in the areas of Children, Youth, Young Adults, and Life Groups at the Four Oaks United Methodist Church. Additionally there is the responsibility to keep these program areas connected to the larger Church Community using various strategies, including one on one visitation with Church members and Church member prospects.
The Assistant Minister must have a passion for working with all age groups and helping them discover a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
The Assistant Minister serves under the supervision of the Senior Pastor and the Staff-Parish Relations Team and reports to the Administrative Council regularly. The Assistant Minister will coordinate his work with other Church program areas and other ministry staff members.
The Assistant Minister will advocate and model United Methodist theology, doctrine, and polity (church government).
The Assistant Minister will participate in district and conference meetings and events, providing leadership in these settings as opportunities arise.
The Assistant Minister position is a 30 hour per week commitment.
