Duke Divinity School Dean Edgardo Colón-Emeric has signed a memorandum of understanding with President Kyung-dong Yoo of Methodist Theological University in Korea to begin a partnership between the two schools in the areas of theological education and academic research. The partnership is the first of its kind between Duke Divinity and a Korean seminary.

This agreement, signed on Sept. 21, supports the creation of pathways for the exchange of students, faculty, and academic programming. Said Dr. Jung Choi, associate dean for global and intercultural formation, "This important partnership is part of Duke Divinity School’s broader commitment to cultivate a global and intercultural community that contributes to theological scholarship at Duke Divinity and abroad."
