Visit Day for Women in Ministry

Tori Hasting, M.Div. '14, preaches at Mt. Bethel UMC during a field education placement.Duke Divinity School’s Women in Ministry Visit Day, a unique opportunity for prospective women students to visit the school, will be held Oct. 9–10.

While all prospective students may visit on any designated visit day, this special event offers an additional opportunity to experience the school’s campus and community life during a Wednesday evening event that includes a dinner and a program attended by current students, faculty, and staff. The visit day event on Thursday, Oct. 10 includes a tour of the school; sessions with Admissions, Financial Aid, and Field Education; worship; lunch with a current student; and the opportunity to attend a class. The event ends on Thursday afternoon.

Prospective students who attend this event will be treated to one night of hotel accommodations (room and tax) as well as Wednesday dinner and Thursday lunch. Reasonably priced transportation options to and from the RDU airport, the hotel, and Duke’s campus are available.
