Dean Richard B. Hays has announced the appointment of Jeff Conklin-Miller to the Divinity School faculty. Conklin-Miller will be the director of the Master of Arts in Christian Practice (M.A.C.P.) degree program and will serve as assistant professor of the practice of Christian formation.

Conklin-Miller is an ordained United Methodist Elder from the California-Pacific Annual Conference and a graduate of Duke Divinity School's Th.D. program. He currently serves as the director of Youth Ministry Initiatives, a program of Leadership Education at Duke Divinity School.

"As Duke Divinity School’s new degree programs continue to expand, we’ve seen an increasing need for both faculty and administrative support. Dr. Conklin-Miller has the precise skill set necessary to help and guide us on both of these fronts. We are grateful to have him in our community," said Hays.

In his new role that officially begins Jan. 1, 2013, Conklin-Miller will work with Associate Dean for Academic Programs Sujin Pak and chair the M.A.C.P. oversight committee. He will also teach courses primarily within that program.
