Bay View is a historic Chautauqua community on the shores of Lake Michigan, offering summer programming across the areas of worship, education, performing arts, and recreation. The Director of Worship plays a vital role in shaping and leading the spiritual life of the community—overseeing worship services, pastoral care, spiritual formation, and ceremonial events throughout the summer Assembly Season, while actively planning and recruiting in the off-season. This is a year-round contract position, with a flexible off-season schedule and a full-time on-site presence during the summer months (housing is provided during the season). 

We are seeking an ordained minister or religious leader with experience in worship leadership, pastoral care, program oversight, and collaborative team leadership. The ideal candidate will be energized by inter-generational ministry and committed to fostering spiritual community in an ecumenical setting.
