The NC Department of Adult Correction is seeking full-time Clinical Chaplains to provide spiritual care and leadership at multiple prisons across the state. Chaplains play a vital role in supporting the emotional, spiritual, and rehabilitative needs of incarcerated people while ensuring that religious rights are upheld.
Key Responsibilities: Provide pastoral care to incarcerated people, staff, and administration. Coordinate and lead religious services for diverse faith groups. Act as a subject matter expert on First Amendment rights and religious accommodations. Train and mentor volunteers to meet the spiritual needs of the population.
