Associate Pastor for Families Chatham Heights Baptist Church & First Baptist Church of Martinsville (VA) Two sister CBF churches in Martinsville, Virginia, are seeking a full-time Associate Pastor for Families to lead children, youth, and family ministries. This shared pastoral role includes engagement with First Baptist Church’s Early Learning Center (ELC) – providing spiritual support and outreach to ELC children and their families. 

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee ministries for children (birth-5th grade) and youth (6th-12th grade) • Lead and support family discipleship initiatives • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers and ministry staff • Plan and coordinate programs for youth such as Sunday School, VBS, Children’s Worship, and outreach events • Engage regularly with children and families at the FBC Early Learning Center • Participate in pastoral care, including support for adults and congregational needs • Collaborate with both pastoral teams and church committees in a shared ministry environment. 

Qualifications: • Seminary degree (or enrollment) preferred; Bachelor’s degree required • Experience in children/youth/family ministry • Strong communication and relational skills • Must pass a background check and hold a valid driver’s license To Apply: Send resume, three references and cover letter to info@fbcmartinsville.com with Attn.
