Hillside Church is a small Cooperative Baptist congregation in Chapel Hill, NC (www.hillsidenc.org). We seek an associate minister whose primary work will be in youth ministry. We offer a weekly youth gathering and discussion time, Sundays from 3-4:30PM. We participate in Passport Youth Missions each summer and the CBFNC fall beach retreat each October. We are seeking an individual who has experience both in working with teenagers and in working with church leaders. The associate minister will develop a ministry team, care for the souls and faith formation of teenagers in our congregation and in the Zion Karen Baptist Church, and serve as a member of the church staff. Weekly leadership in worship and participation in weekly staff meetings and monthly elders’ meetings is also expected of the associate minister. 

This is a part-time position, 12-15 hours per week. We would welcome applications from seminary and divinity school students, but enrollment in a ministry program is required.
