PHW DESCRIPTION Partners in Health and Wholeness (PHW) provides faith communities across N.C. with tools, resources, and support to enhance their capacity and readiness to address the health priorities of their congregation and surrounding community, especially related to healthy aging, mental health, and healthy lifestyle choices. JOB DESCRIPTION The qualified candidate will join a dedicated team of professionals working directly with faith communities and health-related resource partners across North Carolina. You will play an essential role in ensuring that all office administrative functions are coordinated to achieve a high level of productivity for the program. In order to be successful in this position, you should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. This position is grant-supported and subject to funding availability. Program Administration Administrative oversight for the PHW programs. Includes: dissemination of information, oversee Collaborative Pledge, mini-grant, community grant, BIPOC Mental Health grant process, solicit renewals, maintain database, support special projects as needed Prioritize and respond to all correspondence Coordinate social media, newsletters, and website maintenance Lead monthly newsletter creation and distribution in collaboration with PHW staff Assist with program evaluations and reporting outcomes Coordinate and attend events Compile reports required by funders and NC Council of Churches directors Program Engagement Maintain inventory of resources for use by faith communities and partners Participate in resource partner events as needed Participate in PHW team meetings and ongoing strategic planning Develop social media, newsletter, and website campaigns Attend Council monthly communication meetings. Assume other tasks as requested by the Partners in Health and Wholeness Co-Directors and North Carolina Council of Churches’ Executive Director. Essential Skills: Proficient in Google Workplace (docs, sheets, forms) Organizational and relational skills Strong communication skills (written and oral) Clear racial equity lens and commitment to ongoing cultural competency improvement. Detail-oriented Ability to work within a team and independently Experience with social media, including familiarity with professional/organizational Facebook Page Management tools and Twitter posting and analytics. Experience with platforms and tools such as Canva and Slack.
