Triune is a non-denominational mission church with active outreach to the homeless population of Greenville, SC. Average attendance at Sunday worship is 250. Sixty-eight churches and organizations partner with us, and we are a co-founder of the non-profit Jasmine Road and the collective impact Greenville Homeless Alliance. The Pastor oversees a staff of 11, alongside an Associate Pastor primarily responsible for educational programs and pastoral care, and an Associate Director, primarily responsible for facilities and the services provided by the center. Staff members include: case managers, addiction specialists, a bookkeeper/volunteer coordinator, a facilities manager, a music director, a special projects director and an operations specialist. There are also numerous volunteers who require training and supervision. A Board of Directors made up of members inside and outside the congregation is responsible for oversight of the organization. The Pastor/Executive Director reports to this Board. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE • Will possess a Master of Divinity degree from an accredited university • Will have a prophetic preaching voice and the ability to lead worship • Will communicate effectively to outside audiences about Triune’s mission and work • Will work cooperatively with partner agencies serving the homeless and disadvantaged • Will engage opportunities to promote financial support for Triune’s mission and work, and will be ultimately responsible for Triune’s budget and fund-raising • Will be prepared to provide pastoral care and conduct life transition services (e.g., baptisms, weddings and funerals) • Will be adept at communicating effectively through sermons, monthly newsletters and other media • Will show authentic hospitality to all persons regardless of race, gender, sexual identification, socioeconomic status or religious background.
