Durham Memorial Baptist Church is seeking an energetic and spiritually mature individual to serve our church Part Time as Minister of Youth. This individual would be responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and promoting these ministries of DMBC.
We are seeking an individual who is creative and excited about serving Christ. They should be able to promote involvement in the broader life of the church, encouraging all ages to be involved in worship, Bible study, ministry teams, church fellowships, and special church events. They should also have experience in developing, implementing and leading innovative community outreach programs for youth. We are seeking an individual who will be enthusiastic about leading others to worship in multiple styles, including blended and contemporary.
Durham Memorial is a congregation of about 550 with 130 to 150 in regular attendance.
Durham Memorial affirms the Bible as the inspired Word of God and our guide to faith and practice. All employees of Durham Memorial must be willing to affirm the Church Covenant and Constitution. We are a diverse congregation who enjoy a blended style of worship, incorporating Praise and Worship music traditional hymns. We affirm women deacons and have called ordained women to serve on the church staff. We are seeking the person that would honor God in this position and hope to find a good match for who we are as a church family.
This part time position will have a salary/compensation range of $15-17,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
