Parish Stewardship Representative

Key responsibilities / day-to-day job functions: -Serve as a crucial liaison between the diocese and pastors -Provide on-site consultative services to pastors, parish staff, and volunteer stewardship committees to develop a complete, tailored approach to parish stewardship -Visit parishes throughout the diocese, maintain bi-weekly contact with all assigned parishes -Implement parish stewardship processes, including, but not limited to parishioner engagement strategies, offertory improvement, Bishop’s Annual Appeal, Bishop’s Circle events, and communication and online marketing efforts Minimum Requirements: -Minimum level of Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field -Minimum amount of Work Experience: 1-3 years -Years of related work experience: 1-3 years -Area of related work experience: marketing, fundraising, and/or seasoned relationship building -Ability to work effectively with volunteers, donors, staff, contractors, ad others -Must be proficient in Microsoft office programs, especially Word, Publisher, PowerPoint -Must be proficient in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge -In-state travel is required for this position Preferred Qualifications: -Strong sense of urgency and a heart for mission -Practicing Catholic with a sound working knowledge of the Catholic faith CFRE preferred
