The Auburn Wesley Foundation (AWF) is seeking an Associate Director/Campus Minister for a full-time position beginning July 1, 2021. Primary responsibilities include leading a team of students to carry out freshmen-specific ministry and working with the Director and student leaders across the five ministry areas (Outreach, Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Missions) in order to impact and develop the faith of the students of Auburn University with the message and mission of Jesus. In addition, the Associate Director will relate to Auburn United Methodist Church helping coordinate college ministry between AWF and AUMC. As a part of AWF, the Associate Director will serve on a ministry team that is made up of the Director, administrative staff, interns, student council (6 students) and a leadership team of 30 students. This is a year-round position. The nature of campus ministry means that in the 30 or so weeks that make up the fall and spring semesters the typical work week will include 40+ hours of contact time with students including meetings, ministries and events taking place in the evening and as well as some weekends.
