Duke Divinity School's Center for Studies in the Wesleyan Tradition, Methodist House of Studies, and Anglican Episcopal House of Studies are co-sponsoring a sing-along and lecture on The Sacraments Interpreted by John and Charles Wesley led by S. T. Kimbrough, Jr. and Timothy Kimbrough. The lecture will discuss the theological interpretation of the sacraments in the writings and hymns of John and Charles Wesley as well as showcase new musical settings for twenty-two Wesley hymns by contemporary composers from North and South America, Asia, and Europe. S. T. Kimbrough is a research fellow with the Center for Studies in the Wesleyan Tradition. Timothy Kimbrough is a consulting faculty member at Duke Divinity School.
