The Salvadoran Association in North Carolina and the Hispanic House of Studies of Duke Divinity School will host a lecture on San Romero de América en el Salvador Actual to mark the 43rd anniversary of the martyrdom of Sanit Óscar Romero by Rodolfo Cardenal, historian, priest, and director of the Monseñor Romero Center, by Jose Simeón Cañas of Central American University in El Salvador, and by Reverend Edgar Vergara, pastor of La Semilla UMC in Durham, North Carolina.
