Duke Divinity School’s Theology, Medicine and Culture Initiative will host “Practice and Presence: A Gathering for Christians in Health Care,” a three-day, two-night weekend conference which aims to help health care practitioners imagine and engage their vocations with clarity, faith, and joy.

This year’s conference focuses on the theme, “Fear Not: Faithful Health Care in an Anxious Age.” Speakers will include Abraham Nussbaum, M.D., a psychiatrist who is chief education officer at Denver Health in Denver, Colo.,  and Victoria Sweet, M.D., Ph.D., associate clinical professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and a prize-winning historian with a Ph.D. in history.

Registration is required and will begin in July 2019.
