The Office of Black Church Studies at Duke Divinity School will host its annual Pauli Murray/Nannie Helen Burroughs Lecture on Women & Religion with guest lecturer Monica A. Coleman, Ph.D.,  Professor of Constructive Theology and African American Religions at Claremont School of Theology.

A scholar and activist, Coleman is committed to connecting faith and social justice. An ordained elder in the Michigan Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, she has earned degrees from Harvard University, Vanderbilt University, and Claremont Graduate University.

There also will be a book signing by Dr. Coleman immediately following the lecture.
