Duke University will hold its 2019 Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 12, with former WNBA president Lisa Borders, who last fall stepped down from that post to become the first president and CEO of the women’s advocacy group TIME’S UP, delivering the commencement address as part of the Duke Commencement 2019 Weekend.

The commencement ceremony for all graduates will be held at 9 a.m. at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.

Other events that weekend include a Duke University Baccalaureate Service for all university graduates on May 10 at 4:30 p.m. and again May 11 at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., all in Duke Chapel. This service is in addition to the Duke Divinity School's Baccalaureate Service on Saturday, May 11, at 6:30 p.m. at Duke Chapel that is specifically for Divinity School graduates.
