In partnership with Duke University Chapel, Duke Initiatives in Theology and the Arts hosts Vivian R. Jacobson, lecturer and author of Sharing Chagall: A Memoir, for a lunchtime lecture on Chagall's biblical imagination on March 29.

Duke Initiatives in Theology and the Arts and Duke Chapel present an exhibit of prints by the renowned modernist artist Marc Chagall.

Featuring players from the New Caritas Orchestra directed by Dr. Jeremy Begbie, the program will explore the power of music—along with words and images—to expand our theological imagination. The repertoire will be wide and diverse. From classical to contemporary, poetry to paintings, violas to timpani, the evening will invite us to experience God’s extravagance in fresh and compelling ways.

DITA and Duke University Chapel partner to present a premiere exhibition of sacred ink wash art by contemporary poet, painter, and critic DaoZi. On display until November 26, the exhibition is presented in two galleries in Duke University Chapel and Duke Divinity School's 00 Westbrook hallway.

An installation of mixed-media works by one of DITA's doctoral students, Andrew Hendrixson, Th.D. '26. The gallery is comprised of a variety of pieces taken from across Hendrixson's body of work, composed from 2010 to 2024.
