Duke Divinity School alumni and the Dean's Office are sponsoring a free webinar introducing a new pastoral resource to help in the critical personal and pastoral work of thriving spiritually and helping others in our ministries to do so as well in these anxious times of pandemic, politics, social unrest, economic uncertainty, and other disruptions.
The webinar introducing "Anxiety as Opportunity for Spiritual Growth," a seven-session series consisting of short video teaching with creative exercises,
is being made available through Redeeming Babel, a project led by Curtis Chang, consulting faculty in innovation and organizations at Duke Divinity School. The series is accessible online, and designed for both individuals and small groups (meeting either remotely or in person). The curriculum is "plug and play" with minimal prep time required from small group leaders. For an advance preview, you can watch the first video segment of the webinar (9 minutes).
The 90-minute webinar, led live by Chang, will give participants an opportunity to learn about this resource by experiencing it firsthand and also connect with fellow DDS alumni in small groups.
The webinar will be offered twice: Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 and again on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021. Both will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST.
