Duke Divinity School's Weekend Course of Study for Ordained Ministry is designed for part-time local pastors who cannot attend the month-long summer program. Worship begins at 6:30 p.m., and classes are held from 7-10 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday for three consecutive weekends. Students complete one course for each complete session attended.

2012 Convocation & Pastors' School

The annual Convocation & Pastors’ School is an intensive two-day conference that offers lectures, worship, and seminars for Christian leaders of all traditions. Led by scholars and practitioners from Duke and beyond, this event is a cooperative endeavor with the North Carolina and Western North Carolina Conferences of the United Methodist Church. The convocation also includes alumni gatherings.

Registration is now open for the 2012 event, "Form/Reform: Cultivating Christian Leaders." Join Fuller Theological Seminary president Richard J. Mouw, author Andy Crouch, theologian Sarah Coakley, and pastor Prince Rivers in exploring ways for pastors and professors to shape Christians for leadership in an increasingly diverse and evolving social landscape.

Applications are now being accepted from artists wishing to display, demonstrate, and sell their craft during an October 10 arts fair on campus.

Duke Divinity School is accepting applications from artists wishing to display, demonstrate, and sell their craft during an Arts Fair that will take place Monday, October 10, on campus.

The Arts Fair is part of the 2011 Convocation & Pastors’ School, “Drawn into Scripture: Arts and the Life of the Church,” an event that will explore new ways of interpreting the Word.
