Duke Initiatives in Theology and the Arts (DITA) at Duke Divinity School and Blacknall Memorial Presbyterian Church will co-host "The Word Made Fresh," a three-day exploration of poetry, music, and Christian imagination with poet and musician the Rev. Malcolm Guite and folk singer-songwriter Steve Bell.
In collaboration with DITA Director Jeremy Begbie, Bell and Guite will present free public lecture/concerts, readings, and theological discussions culminating in a final evening performance during the Feb. 16-18 series of events.
This particular event will be the second and final part of a two-part, lecture/concert presentation, "Music You Never Would Have Known to Listen For." It will be held at Blacknall Memorial on Feb. 17.
