The Duke Divinity School Office of the Dean and the Office of Black Church Studies will host four guest speakers to continue a discussion of race and anti-black violence.

Guest speakers at "Black Lives Matter - Discussing Race and Anti-Black Violence" will be: the Rev. Osagyefo Sekou, community pastor and activist; Leah Gunning Francis, associate dean for contextual education and assistant professor of Christian education at Eden Theological Seminary; Frank Roberts, a faculty member at New York University; and Brittany Cooper, assistant professor of women's and gender studies and Africana studies at Rutgers University.

J. Kameron Carter, associate professor of theology and black church studies at Duke Divinity School, will respond to the speakers.

No registration is required, and the event is open to the public.
