For students considering Duke Divinity School, a campus visit offers perhaps the best opportunity to experience the community and discern whether the school is a good fit for their theological education and preparation for ministry.
This March two events are planned to focus specifically on the information needs of students of color and women considering the ministry. On March 16-17, the Office of Black Church Studies and the Office of Admissions will host Students of Color Visit Day and is intended to provide and additional opportunity for students of color to build community and experience the richness of the ethnic community at Duke Divinity School. On March 23-24, the Divinity Women’s Center and the Office of Admissions will host Women in Ministry Day, an additional visit opportunity for women who are admitted or prospective students.
Both events will start with a welcome reception and dinner on the evening of the first day and will be followed on the second day with opportunities to attend classes, worship with the community, meet with Director of Admissions, have lunch with current students, and talk with the field education and financial aid directors.
