The Anglican Episcopal House of Studies at Duke Divinity School will host the first Clergy Study Day for Anglican Episcopal clergy on March 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Goodson Chapel.
More than 40-60 clergy from surrounding Anglican/Episcopal dioceses are expected to attend for a day of prayer, connection, and continuing education.
The Rev. Sam Wells , dean of Duke Chapel, will speak on “The Power of Ministry.” Wells, who says the current generation of clergy has no idea of their own power, will use his address to identify where the true power of ministry lies and attempt to restore confidence in the priesthood as a vocation.
The cost to attend the event is $60. Duke Divinity School faculty and staff may attend for free but need to register. The registration deadline is March 4.
